The cleaning soap opera continues, after all it does
Supply: Linked In (Jeff Rawson – Speaking Joints Memo)
New reporting by Gordon Russell of the Boston Globe Media digs into the involvements of Shawn Collins with Best Hits Hashish Co.. The article ties him and his present enterprise companion Nicholas Adamopoulos to the wrongful suspension and termination of Chair Shannon O’Brien, as I first reported in Speaking Joints Memo final September. It expands upon reporting by each myself and Grant Smith-Ellis.
“The whistle-blower, Matt Dunkum, stated in an interview that his former bosses at Best Hits routinely talked about their ties to Collins, with the chief govt boasting of strolling his canine with the hashish regulator and the corporate’s lawyer telling staff that ‘Shawn,’ who grew to become his enterprise companion quickly after leaving the CCC, had their backs.”
“Collins declined an interview, however stated by electronic mail that he “didn’t present any licensee or applicant preferential remedy, entry, or safety” throughout his tenure.”
That assertion is curious, and considerably contradicted by the conclusions of a report by the State Auditor, Diana DiZoglio. From the report of Auditor DiZoglio: “CCC’s mismanagement of prorated charges for license extensions resulted in procedural inequity, income loss, and noncompliance with state laws.”
There have been inequities, misplaced revenues, and uneven compliance on the watch of Collins. Whether or not he was ever answerable for offering them looks as if a nice hair to separate.
