
Colorado lawmakers are aiming to legalize hemp-derived THC drinks in conventional hospitality venues like bars and eating places regardless of a looming federal ban.
Launched within the state Legislature on April 16, the “Regulation of Lawful THC Drinks” invoice proposes permitting the sale of low-dose hemp-based THC drinks to adults 21 and older – and outdoors the state-regulated hashish market.
How would hemp THC drinks be regulated in Colorado?
If handed, SB26-164 would permit licensed alcohol institutions – together with bars, eating places, music venues and liquor shops – to acquire an extra license to serve hemp-derived drinks containing as much as 10 milligrams of THC per serving.
These companies can be forbidden from promoting or permitting using hashish.
